Fostering Civil Discourse:
How Do We Talk About the Issues That Matter?

Please join us as we celebrate the re-launch of the Center for Leadership, Ethics, and Service with a panel discussion on civil discourse and engaging difference. Mercer faculty will focus on Civil Discourse in Higher Education and how to have powerful, nuanced discussions that might engender differing/contrary perspectives. The interdisciplinary discussion will include personal and professional beliefs, theories of knowledge acquisition, and values as they relate to engaging in civil discourse.
